You’ll fly into Arusha before catching a connecting flight to the Lake Manyara Airstrip and then being transferred to your accommodation in Karatu. Over the next three days, you’ll visit the highlights of the region. Tour the famous Ngorogoro Crater where you’ll explore the forest and lake areas inhabited by a range of different animals, as well as the vast savannas also teeming with wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the amazing Lake Manyara National Park and even visit an authentic Maasai Mara village to experience how true locals live.

Day 9-12

Zanzibar

It’s time to leave the wilds behind and head for some sea, sand and sun. You’ll catch your flight to Zanzibar from your airstrip before being transferred to your resort accommodation. Zanzibar is an archipelago with its historic town centre being the vibrant and fascinating Stone Town, a World Heritage Site. The spice trade features prominently here, so expect to take in the heady scents during town explorations. The allure of any island is usually its beautiful beaches and close association to relaxation, so be prepared to spend your days kicking back on the beach, sampling the tastes of the islands or taking to the waters to view things from a different perspective. Whatever you choose to do, you’re in for a treat.
