The best highlights for this trip is the encounter the great apes in their forest home. Upon transferring from Kampala to Kibale, the experience will start with a chimpanzee walk early morning where you are also likely to see other primates especially monkeys and other species of birds. In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi swamp, which is sanctuary for many endemic bird species. You will also see for yourself how the local community has contributed to the conservation of the wetland.
